Photography was always my chosen career path, I feel fortunate that I knew so early and I studied my degree in Advertising & Editorial photography. Like so many, I was interested in the fashion world and during my second year I worked for Mario Testino. I continued to study alongside working for him throughout my third year, and once I graduated too. 

The insight into the world of photography, publications, exhibitions and story telling is something I'm still so grateful of today. It has certainly been a pivotal point in my career.

I fell into weddings - asked by chance to photograph one, and I quickly realised when photographing my first season in 2010 that my editorial and fashion background stood me apart.

Every year now, the design, quality, ideas and production of weddings just keeps raising and as a photographer it's so exciting. 

I'm based in Oxfordshire, and I'm spoilt with so many gorgeous venues locally in the Cotswolds, but weddings do take me the length of the UK and abroad as well.

The majority of my clients live in London, but are hosting their wedding either at the family home with a marquee or a venue that offers weekend stays, so the celebrations can span over several days. My approach on your wedding day is to blend in as a guest, capturing the story, emotion and beauty unfolding. I want to create lasting memories of the authentic moments and beautiful portraiture for you to treasure. My editorial background shines in the couple photographs, and paired with my love for candid photography, I capture the real essence of your guests and the atmosphere of your wedding day.

It was such a pleasure to have her photograph our special day. Lucy captured all of the personal moments that we will cherish forever and ever. She did such a wonderful job, and totally surpassed any expectations and created the most beautiful piece of art in our wedding album. The movement and story telling was captured so perfectly and we loved seeing so many happy smiley faces when the album was delivered.
Her calm nature and subtleness was stand-out. My parents had been worrying that certain pictures were not taken, as they didn't notice Lucy taking them, and then the album came through and there they all were! This was such an amazing surprise for them, and I think this also means that Lucy captured special moments so naturally and with so much emotion as people are truly in the moment and have no idea their picture is being taken!
